on one hand i'll miss sploid because they had some bizarre articles (mermaids washing up on shore, mysterious animals, yadda yadda).
on the other hand the editors were a bunch of conspiracy nuts. al zarqawi was a _fictional terrorist_ made up by the u.s. to add credibility to the iraq war? the u.s. and u.k. made up the recent mid-air bombing plot to further some sort of... see, that's where i get lost.
regardless, it's one less website for my lunchtime reading material.
