xfx rated 6 weeks ago- Useless... specially if your computer "already" boots into linux!

veryanon rated 7 weeks ago- linux rules.. Asus knows it.

Kaempfer05 rated 5 months ago- Ah, I remember seeing the early version of this reviewed on phoronix. For those of you comparing it unfavorably to your favorite flavor of Linux, it is Linux - a specially designed version that boots directly from the motherboard. The version I saw reviewed was thought up, not for speed, but for potential troubleshooting. Screw up the OS you have on disk? Boot into the mobo and fix what you broke, no liveCD or payers to the Hard Drive fairies needed. People who are hobbled by having nothing but Windows experience will benefit the most from it, since they're less likely to have the wonder that is GRUB waiting there to save their asses.

Dingus rated 5 months ago- All this to save 1.5 minutes of boot up time..

- That is cool in some way but you can strip down Ubuntu or build a Slack distribution that can do even more and load just 10 seconds slower...

parvez rated 6 months ago- Cool!

jmiahman rated 8 months ago- This is Linux at it's Finest!

- With SplashTop your computer is ready to use within moments of turning it on; you needn't wait for it to boot--just start chatting, IMing, and mailing away, nothing so harrowing as boot-up time will get between you and your net needs. >> CGYTek.blogspot.com
