    My constant (and most trustworthy) companion through the working day. Keeps me up-to-date with the latest news and has one or the other interesting in-depth-article. Nevertheless, I agree with other comments: As a devoted reader of the "Spiegel" printed magazine, I sometimes wonder about the dubious relevance and quality of so-called "news". But well, that's the web, I guess ;-).

    probably the most successful german news site. quality could be better though. can not be compared to the print version. i got the impression it's run mostly by interns, many errors, half sentences, bad research, opportunistic journalistic style...
