aestheticart discovered 4 months ago- "Nightmare#2",1989, woodcut print, by Zhao Yannian (b.1923). And to prove that human tragedy can be commented on in a dignified way by artists here we have the extraordinarily simple but revealing "Nightmare" by Zhao Yannian. The strength of the hand pushing the victim's head down says it all, and in a few strokes. And more importantly: without drooling.
