They voluntarily chose not to comply with the CAFE standards and as a result paid substantial penalties under the law." Once I was driving down the highway with my bicycle tied to the roof of my car. I noticed the front wheel of the bike spinning because of the aerodynamics it occured to me some technology could be developed that feeds energy to batteries this way. Just thought I'd mention that in case some geniuses out there wanted to try something like this.
