From the page: "What Stoker and Lemke have found, according to several attendees of the private meeting, is not direct proof of life on Mars, but methane signatures and other signs of possible biological activity remarkably similar to those recently discovered in caves here on Earth." [...This] is not direct proof of life on Mars, but methane signatures and other signs of possible biological activity remarkably similar to those recently discovered in caves here on Earth." Finding fossil evidence of microbial life on Mars would have knocked my socks off... but if they find evidence of STILL-LIVING microbial life on Mars? I would burst with glee! Also, solving the mystery methane source on Mars also might help solve the mystery methane source on Titan.

But, if it turns out to be true, this is very, very cool.
