billgwb rated 16 months ago- Great site about russian history.
Vakiants rated 30 months ago- Very nice historic site, especially the video collection. Check out the argumentation of Soviets, why they invaded Czechoslovakia (liberate the people who are crying for help, blah-blah). Does this remind you of any more recent events in world history? ;)

Khaaan rated 21 months ago- Nice bits of Russian history. Anyone who likes the site should check out Moscow 1941 by Rodric Braithwaite
Professorjensen rated 40 months ago- However, Russian History is more than 1000 years old. Beware the Great Historical Error.
EmilioX rated 28 months ago- From the page: "Welcome to Seventeen Moments in Soviet History
Soviet history, like few others, has a beginning and an end. Born in a surge of optimism on October 25, 1917, and dissolving in chaos on December 8, 1991, the Soviet experiment gave the world vivid examples of collective endeavor and civic self-destruction. "
MarshalPhilip rated 29 months ago- Very interesting
fitzov rated 28 months ago- A seemingly comprehensive summary of Soviet history put together by two scholars. I can't attest to it's accuracy, but it appears to be an honest attempt.

history is our past and we should have learnt something.
Celainn rated 34 months ago- A huge amount of subject matter on a very few "important" moments in Soviet history. The dry facts are boosted by video, music of the period, and scads of pictures and photos.
