blotchyporridge discovered 29 months ago- Whoa...
There's the odd chance I may have come across some info on this film ages ago, but I only just got around to finding the trailer for it now. This is Germany's official Oscar entry for Best Foreign film. And while some people will throw the whole "Putting a Swastika is an easy way to make a powerful film" line around, I say using one forces those involved to make it that way. Besides, even though a lot of films do it, Barber's Adagio always makes things sound wholistically gut wrenching...- Watch the trailer here or visit the website up there.

shaunconnell rated 6 weeks ago- You /must/ watch this movie. I have never been moved as much as this portrayal of the young heroine.

celtsalt rated 27 months ago- I think the Swaztika is almost as alive today as then. There is such a trend of denial of the Holocaust, Neo-Nazism, rising racism in America, Anti-Semitism is again on the rise around the world, maybe we all need a sharp reminder that we get the governments that we allow. Can't wait to see this.
