It was animated 1 frame at a time by hand and photographed onto film without computers. He didn't have a big team of 100 animators like TV shows, he did everything himself over months, minus some voice acting and sound effects people. If this can't win an award I don't know what can. The first time I saw it I was crying of laughter on the floor. I think it's brilliant.
