Article about some common usability problems that could be translated to these recommendations: 1) If something is worth making a link, then it should be made big enough. 2) Paging should be used very carefully since it is problematic from a usability point of view and because search engines index the content better if there is no pagination. 3) Page titles should always be unique and begin with the page topic. 4) An effective content page should have several visually interesting elements and the elements should be clearly differentated from each other. 5) Contact details and a easy contact form should be easily available. 6) Large websites should always have internal search since about half of the users are search-focused. 7) Registration should be required only in extreme cases. Most functionality should be available without registration. 8) Redirection plan should be always implemented when doing site changes. 9) Registration forms should ask only minimum information.
