I hear ya Blissenobiarella! There are actually some cool and useful apps on the list. It WOULD be nice if they offered more information on why these apps are useful though.

Oy. Lollerskates at the comments: 1) A trackback from another post on the same site 2) Somebody thanking them for featuring their site 3) Oh look, another thank you You know what? SU gives me a lot of hits for lists, and it seems like lists are a new trend in this world of easy-to-digest content. And really, I have no problem with lists -- cracked.com makes some pretty entertaining ones. But when the list doesn't even tell you anything about its contents and simply points you places with low-quality JPEGs of the company logo, well, then I get a little annoyed. Also, to stumblers: stop thumbs-upping this crap and making the text of your review THE TITLE OF THE F'ING SITE. It's REDUNDANT and ANNOYING. If you really like any of the apps on lists like these -- lists that don't go out of their way to tell you WHY something might be useful past the application's own product blurb -- then give THOSE the thumbs-up instead. ...See, this is why I left SU for so long.
