So why do these people do frivolous, eccentric bullshit like this instead of, oh, I don't know, helping the starving people around the world? With six million dollars (which was the price for only ONE of these), One could have fed thousands of starving children for a few years. Somehow I can't possibly imagine that the construction of one of these is worth even the tiniest fraction of happiness, or at least of hope, offered to a poor family upon learning that they aren't going to starve to death.
