    After reviewing a number of slideshow apps, I chose SlideShowPro for its flexibility, customizability, and low price, and I've been VERY satisfied, especially after spending just a little bit more for SSP Director, which manages the slideshow galleries for me from my Website's server. I've currently got 700+ images on my site, and SSP has automated a lot of the work involved in processing those. The SSP website also has extensive documentation and highly active forums, which are frequented by SSP developers and experts. Maybe there's a better slideshow app out there, but I don't have any reason to go looking for it-- SlideShowPro does the job for me just dandy.
