sustainableisgoo discovered 2 months ago- Excellent article on plastics recycling

michelle5928 rated 8 weeks ago- My hometown doesn't have any restrictions on what we can throw in our recycling containers, although they only come around once a month. I don't feel like we should have to sort it, considering there is big money to be made in the recycling industry.

Organicpicks rated 2 months ago- From the page: "I've been tossing my used yogurt cups in the recycling bin for years. So imagine my horror when I recently got around to reading the fine print on my city's sanitation guidelines--yogurt cups, it turns out, are supposed to go in the regular trash. Has my inadvertent sorting error ruined many tons' worth of recyclable plastics?"
