- It all depends on your audience and your patrons (who may or may not be the same).
- If you are writing for a busy executive, brief and to the point is good.
- If you are writing to confuse the public, as in advertising copy, brief and to the point is bad.
- If you are writing for yourself, as in a diary, then you want to get all your observations down on paper.
