From the page: "Christmas is a lie. There is no Christian church with a tradition that Jesus was really born on December 25th." Yes, but please don't make me change what year it is.

Eye opening. I had known some of the history of Christmas but this is off the charts. I wonder how much of this is true.

Hahah, it loses me completely at The Christmas Challenge. Thumbs up for being interesting, but what's this: "Many of the most popular Christmas customs - including Christmas trees, mistletoe, Christmas presents, and Santa Claus - are modern incarnations of the most depraved pagan rituals ever practiced on earth." None of the things he mentions here are mentioned elsewhere in the article as being especially depraved. Oh dear god, pagans used to cut down trees to decorate in their living rooms!!!

I'm a skeptic, and as a result, wary because I've not uncovered some of his information in my readings (historians have debunked the "Druidic ritual killing" bits as conjecture - there is no hard evidence to support that this went on) over the years. However, this dude is for real. I checked his name out on several sources and he's well-respected as a theologian and as a psychologist. As a historian ... Meh, not so much. Take that for what it is worth. His words have incredible impact.

I don't agree with everything on the page, but it does two things for me. 1) it gives a history of the celebrations of Christmas; and, 2) it gives a concise reason why Jews do not celebrate Christmas.

The Real Story of Christmas ...Many who are excitedly preparing for their Christmas celebrations would prefer not knowing about the holidayâ€s real significance.
