Union workers, I wonder why the cost of manufacturing cars in the US is so high. your jobs are not skilled labor, stop trying to sell yourselves as such. oh wait its too late, and you are seeing the disastrous aspect of your egotism.

This is definitely depressing. But pretty cool to look at from the air.

Cars and homes are abundant but people won't get them because only the banks got bailed out.

Says quite a bit about how the supply is outstripping the demand at the moment. Impressive pictures.

one way to reduce inventory may be to reduce the price and sell as the firm can make more money if the auto is not on the parking lot I would think

Unsold car images from around the world. The economic outlook becomes more and more bleak.Yet inspite of the seriousness of the situation, the greatest president to ever live seems to feel that by pumping a $246 million tax break for Hollywood movie producers to buy motion picture film, is going to jolt the economy into recovery. Here's more. $200 million for public computer centers at community colleges. Weren't colleges and the internet instrumental in Pres. Obama's election victories. Must be looking ahead to 2012.$1.2 billion for "youth activities," including youth summer job programs. Seems kind of steep to me...and my personal favorite, $400 million for the Centers for Disease Control to screen and prevent STD's or put in layman's terms, condom distribution. Yet oddly enough, the President concedes that this spending bill won't have an immediate appreciable effect on the economy. Never the less he is over emphasizing the extreme urgency in getting it passed ASAP). I'm guessing that this package is like FDR's "New Deal" which had to be passed immediately but didn't have any real appreciable effects until the start of the second world war.

Auto Prices About To Crash With unsold cars stacking up by the day, demand falling faster, and bailout silliness getting sillier, I have three easy to make predictions. 1) Hundreds of dealerships are headed for bankruptcy in 2009 2) The Fed Is Destined To Become World's Largest Auto Dealership 3) Cars are going to get cheaper, much cheaper. Auto prices will crash. Liquidation sales later this year after the 2010 models come out are going to be fabulous. It makes no sense to buy a car now, no matter how good the deal looks. The deals will get progressively better as the year rolls on.
