These R-Tards are the reason why we can't build nuclear power plants. They flip-flopped on the hydroelectric dam issues once supporting it then when the public opinion changed, they started to go against dams. Thank you for keeping us in the Middle East you wacko's.

https://ww2.sierraclub.org/membership/gift/ John Muir Quote of the Day No synonym for God is so perfect as Beauty. Whether as seen carving the lines of the mountains with glaciers, or gathering matter into stars, or planning the movements of water, or gardening - still all is Beauty! - Proud member of the Sierra Club -

It's not about "tree hugging". It's about thinking of the future rather than indulging in thoughtless and destructive gratification and exploitation. And yeah, the outings page is cool. Member for 10 years.

America's Coasts and Arctic Refuge Dodge a Bullet In a victory for environmentalists working to save America's natural heritage, the House Rules Committee has removed the controversial Arctic Refuge and offshore drilling provisions from the budget-reconciliation package. But we must remain vigilant. Drilling proponents have promised to bring the proposals back in the House-Senate conference. We'll be there every step of the way to remind them that destroying the Arctic and our coasts is not an energy policy. Help us reach our goal of 100,000 signatures to keep drilling our coasts and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge out of the budget.
