A mall near me has this set up. It attracts 4-year-olds like flies to flypaper. The grownups are all too self-conscious to try it.

An interesting interactive multimedia feature for malls, though I'd be more interested in seeing the release of their 'sensitive table,' especially in large public spaces, like malls There's one of these sensitive floors in the Westlake Center in Seattle, accessible by the Seattle Space Center Monorail.

While this is cool, I think I've been to 3 art shows in the past five years where people did an installation like this. You can DIY this with a motion sensor, a projector, and flash (or something similar).
