As far as I know, this is impossible, but it doesn't matter. I mean, granted, magnetic fields can be simulated and such, but this is a little over the top (in a good way). Really entertaining, and maybe some day we will actually be able to capture magnetic fields on normal cameras (without iron dust)

This is a demonstration of how science can be faked. It was done with goal of making a fake science documentary for art sake. It reminds me of a faked insect documentary movie I saw in the 1970's. It too was done for the purpose of art and not as a hoax.
