Kids should be spoken to about the 'ways of the world' just above their current understanding, with increasing difficulty as they get increasingly pesky. Of course, giving up and saying "I don't know-- let's go grab an encyclopedia" is a perfectly reasonable response as well.

This is awesome. Too bad all parents can't be so knowledgeable about things... I find it mildly annoying that other Stumblers said that they'd say something like "the soap is magic and the dirt is evil" wtf? that's a flat-out lie, AND it's the easy way out so you don't have to spend your precious time actually TEACHING something. *gasp* grrrr.
