If you stop smoking, your chances WILL decrease, but not become that of someone who's never smoked. So, the lesson here is, it's better to not start in the first place! I'm that person who sees people when the results of their years of smoking take place (I'm a radiologic technologist). Remember too, cancer doesn't have a tendency to stay in one spot, it spreads. Remember that when you light up. Also, think of who you're doing it for. Quitting smoking is keeping you from causing loved ones hurt.
