( = ^ , ^ = ) 'ebionites go back 2 earliest period of christian history. they were jews who accepted jesus of nazareth as messiah while continuing 2 maintain their identity as jews. they repudiated apostle paul because of his denigration of jewish law. they saw jesus as a prophet and denied the virgin birth. unitarian concept and prophetic human nature of jesus was held by many early communities. early followers of jesus were condemned by later followers of an adopted faith. 1 john 5:7 in king james was a fabrication- no greek manuscript contains the father, son and holy ghost.'
