ghelms discovered 23 months ago- From the site: "Our goal is to provide people with the information and guidance they need to choose Atheism and live healthy, God-free lives".

rougegoat rated 5 months ago- you can't restore religious freedom in the country(this site's stated goal) by getting everyone to give up their religion. this page is just offensive to everyone, theist or not.

roto13 rated 5 months ago- I hate hypocrites.

hotpinkflamingo rated 5 months ago- I'm an atheist, and I don't like that site. Some people believe, some don't. Move on.....

Thomas-Jefferson rated 5 months ago- hahaha, reminds me of how three year olds love to backsass by saying "No!" to their elders. Time for a nap! This site is better: http://www.llerrah.com/godsaidno.htm

eristicaccord rated 8 months ago- Uhm... this kind of smacks of religious intolerance doesn't it? If you DON'T want to believe in god, awesome, I support you. If you DO want to believe in god, awesome, I support you to. If you think that you need to push your own personal belief on someone else... well go fuck yourself with a broomstick.

doglove rated 9 months ago- "This year, more than 29 million Americans will choose no religion. We, the people at SayNoToGod.org and The Partnership for a God-Free America, would like to see that number grow. We are dedicated to restoring the right to religious freedom. It IS okay to say "NO" to God."

mischala rated 9 months ago- i agree with TheHunter234, we atheists are what we are because 1. we don't believe in any god, 2. don't wish to belong to a religious group, if we bind together we become a group of people who believe the same thing, we become a religion.

- While I understand the need to form groups to promote and support a demographic that is still largely distrusted and discriminated against, it kind of defeats the concept of atheism. One of the main ideas behind atheism is that we don't need to belong to a group or belief system, that we've moved beyond the very human desire to have something larger than ourselves there to comfort us and take responsibility for our existence. Also, one of the ideas is that we've come to our decision to be atheist individually of our own free will, and organized groups pressuring others to submit to atheism are completely in conflict with that philosophy. However, it is difficult to live as an atheist these days, so in general I do support groups that lobby to protect our rights and provide help to those who need it, but in the long run, I believe they go against the core concepts behind atheism and will serve to be just as bad as the religious organizations we try to escape.
