So there I was. Googling for images that were descriptive of "spirituality and health" ... and i don't know why i do that except curious to see others' renditions. So I see the above photo and am impressed it was a Stumbler's page that had been archived by Google.

Well. Anyone into Spirituality and Health on Stumble is someone I have got to see right? So off to Savvy Suzy's page I go.

I am blown over when I see this spectaculactious gem of a soul has this website. Utterly knocked over! Yes! Thank you Savvy Suzy! No, you may indeed be no spring chicken, but you have one hell of a cluck my friend! Cluck cluck!

Ok, you're "just" a ____________ (fill in the blank: housewife, retiree, ordinary person... and can't imagine what you could share in a blog that would benefit others. Here is a simple blog where Savvy Suzy shares her insights on life - a life probably very similar to many others. What can we learn from her - or you? Don't think anyone would be interested in what you know? You're in good company. Some of the people I've most wanted to learn from didn't understand why anyone would be interested - and many of them WERE famous. When Dear Ann Landers, Dear Abby, and Miss Manners first started who would have suspected how valuable their contributions to the world would be? Now we have Oprah, Dr. Phil, Ellen, and many others. They're all just people - just like you or me. Each of us has knowledge others could use - especially if you can focus on explaining how to do something in an easily understood, sequential manner. If your explanations include interesting stories and are entertaining so much the better. There is room for both very factual and very entertaining writers because there are many different types of readers. There is a demand for skills that you may take for granted - especially if you're older or lived in a rural area. What you think "everyone already knows" may already be fairly rare skills. When I worked for IBM as a computer technician people were constantly amazed to find out that I knew how to sew, cook, and bake. I used to quip, "You think I'm smart enough to fix your computer but too dumb to know how to bake?" We usually learned those skills from our Mothers. When women started working many did not transfer those skills to their children so now they can't teach theirs either. There is a renewed interest in skills like cooking from scratch, planting a garden, canning and preserving food. You probably know many things you've never thought about teaching to others.
