- I just noticed SU only allows 'Thumbs Up' photo stumbles. Oh well. From the page: "A September 2005 report revealed that the polar ice cap has shrunk by more than 20 percent since 1979, losing an area the size of Colorado in the preceding year alone." This page is a perfect example of a bad arguement. They don't even make a connection between an allegedly shrunken ice cap and anything else.

Yes, humans are responsible for the polar ice caps melting... They were also responsible for ending many of the ice ages in the past too.
