mattcharman discovered 8 weeks ago- I've been looking into ways to get my followers in sync between the various services I'm using, mainly FriendFeed, Twitter, Facebook, and Identi.ca. It's not easy. Of course there's the Twitter 2 FriendFeed Importer, but ultimately, adding contacts is still very much a manual process these days. I tend to batch this process on a regular basis by going through my email and opening tab after tab (see?).

- Sarah makes a great point. What is the sense in having all these social media apps if we don't have decent data portability. It's just getting to be a time-sucker.
