    what a cool project. If it were 1999. its 10 years later you can buy a cheap mp3 player for about £15 or less, and buy an adapter for less than £10. done.

    What a piece of crap. I would've been impressed 15 years ago, marginally a decade ago. But it's 2009. Go buy an MP3 player for $20. The rest of the gadgetry would just be standard car audio electronics. Even if this is just about gadgetry, I cannot understand what's so kewl about a 12-year-old ugly PC filling up the space below the seat, unless you're just trying not to spend any money. Google for "micro PC" or "netbook". ;)

    Sure, it's getting a little long in the tooth, but it serves as a good indication of how far MP3 players have come in the last ten years...

    cool setup, except the massive hole where the deck would normally be, should mounted the LCD there, of at least built a cool cover there, it looks really like its missing something. otherwise pretty cool, Ive always wanted to put a computer in my car
