"that's optimized for programmer happiness and sustainable productivity. It lets you write beautiful code by favoring convention over configuration" .... **Vomit** But wait, if you order in the next 5 seconds, we'll include a FREE double-slap to remind you of the garbage quality of ruby, without a strongly backed extension called "Rails".

Frameworks are for lazy people. Learn to code Ruby or GTFO.

Ruby on Rails is a breakthrough in lowering the barriers of entry to programming. Powerful web applications that formerly might have taken weeks or months to develop can be produced in a matter of days.

Horrible. (And I don't care what anyone else says about it).

Might be good and i'm probobly the only one saying this. But i generally don't like frameworks at all. Either do em right, or do it yourself. I prefer to stick to the good old fashioned "do it your self" strategy, and as you go along (now 10 years of doing so) you've made your own "frameworks" id you will.

It's revolutionary. Ruby on Rails actually taught me about a whole load of stuff I was doing wrong in other languages :-) plus the logo is red, so it goes with my StumbleUpon theme!
