If you have never been to an ice sculpting festival.. You've missed something. The art is usually taught in culinary schools and it's done rather quickly but the end results always blows the doors wide open with one big 'WOW'!

My grandma would go to see the sand carvings every year. I so envied her but she always sent me the pictures of her trip. But the added element of colored lights through clear, sculpted ice is so elegant. That would be a fantastic date night destination!
