Aside from the extreme level of courage and stick-to-it-tiveness she has shown, I love the fact that she had the fortitude to question everything and leave her comfortable life behind. It will be interesting to see what she has to say about all this 30 years from now.

It speaks volumes that I happened to discover Roz Savage AFTER David de Rothschild. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that women still don't have equal rights across the world. Regardless, by rowing across the Pacific she is doing a wonderful thing for herself, for all other women and the rest of the world. She is showing everyone what we can endure if we are focused enough...and there is now much for us to endure.

Great adventure! "Rowing solo across oceans might not be everybody's idea of a dream job, but Roz Savage decided she'd had enough of her conventional London existence and wanted to do something special with her life. So in her mid-thirties she quit her job and bought a rowboat.""If I repeat today's actions 365 times, will I be where I want to be a year from now?"Both above quotations from her site, not attributed to her, but . . .
