Um... I may be wrong here... but does anyone else think this is intended to be humourous?! So there's no need to get wound up by it? Just a question, gang. From the page: "Let's face it. There's a lot of science fiction and fantasy out there and very little time to read it... more

I'd like it more if the people who write these things could keep their opinions out of it. Calling Kurt Vonnegut a "stupid jerk" isn't really getting you anywhere in terms of shortening his books.

Let's face it. There's a lot of science fiction and fantasy out there and very little time to read it in.

I agree! This isn't serious, just an exercise in humour! If it is serious (which it obviously isn't, as I peed myself!!), literature and writers beware, for your days are numbered!! NOT!

People are treating this to seriously. Its satirical at mocking both crappy reviews and crappy books, however the two intermingle leaving you with confusion as to whether the book is what they hate, or whether they merely wanted to be humorous. Personally, I think it is merely here to be funny, and nothing else.

This thumbs down is for them thinking they could condense "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". That book isn't just sci-fi, it's also humor. In their attempt to condense it, they left out all the brilliance of Douglas Adams. A tragedy, really.

Haha... go through this if you don't have the time to actually read all those books. Funny!

It's a fun read and some of the condensed remarks are pretty funny.
