You neglected to mention that 90% of soybeans are genetically modified courtesy Monsanto, with some studies showing incidences of gene transfer between humans.

During my health-freak phase, I already discovered most of these. However, I wasn't aware of the high value placed on dried figs or kale. But I have to agree with a stumbler who reviewed this site previously about the soy. Although soy can be a healthy alternative to lactose, it can really screw with estrogen levels so for some it isn't such a perfect fit

The title is probably referring to the average consumer. I love these foods yet in a high paced society I eat more fast food than any of these. I wish I could remember these foods when I eat.

Soy intake should be limited, it's not as healthy as the soy industry wants you to think. Funny how all of sudden Soy became the healthiest thing in the world at the same time as it became one of the largest US crops, do your own research and don't listen to hype.
