misstake discovered 5 months ago- What could we be capable of, working together? Republicans, we care about you. We want to hear your concerns. We want to have a conversation with you, as countrymen and family, and we'll keep our minds open. We share goals and values. And apparently, we can support the same man.

- I still really don't see how some Republicans want Obama but I'm cool with it.

Alde rated 5 months ago- Pander to everyone. Promise everything. Get elected. Under deliver. Wonder when Anonymous will picket Obama, because he's rising to cult status. So ... if Obama does become president ... if this Obamamania doesn't wane ... do we look forward to four years of civil rights advocates yelling "racist" every time someone disagrees with or opposes an Obama policy initiative? What has this man EVER accomplished? Other than big words that mean nothing, where does he stand on any position? Obama gives speeches that actually say nothing, but into which each listener can read his own beliefs. Both his speaking style and the audience reaction to that style are typical of the connection between a demagogue and his audience. It's not knew, it's been around for a while, but in an age of inarticulate politicians, we're unused to it and have no resistance. His weird demagogic connection, which bypasses reason entirely and goes into some scary emotional realm that shouldn't have a place in American politics.

- From the page: "Senator Obama is the one candidate who can unite the American majority that wants to move forward and improve the long-term economic well-being and independence of our nation."
