- We all need to be able to live in a world where it is possible to state the fact that religion is bullshit, without fear of reprisal. In recent months religious people of all types have become much more aggressive - the numbers of people being killed because they belong to the 'wrong' religion is escalating, as is the medieval rhetoric I read from Christian, Jewish, Moslem and Hindu fundamentalists, all starting to get at each other's throats 'Faith' schools are gathering strength too - with Moslems demanding the same privileges to run schools as the Church of England and the Catholic Church. Putting religious people in charge of education is crazy - rather like putting astrologers in charge of NASA. Let's get rid of 'faith' schools and bring in 'fact' schools.
