A brief overview of over 40 of the world's religions. Some of the information is open to question however. Use it as a basic starting point and then do more research.

A good brief summary of a variety of religious beliefs. Neutral and fair with links to related sites providing additional information. Only one error found: Under Deism listing Thomas Jefferson as a proponent. Thomas Jefferson was not a Deist. Personally, I would not care had he been. Mr. Jefferson listed "deist" as a false accusation made against him by the Episcopalian Clergy during the debates surrounding the Act of Religious Freedom he had authored and proposed to become a law in Virginia. The Episcopalians were defending their religious supremacy in Virginia and accused Jefferson of several things, being a Deist among them, which Mr. Jefferson evidently resented judging from the tone of the letter. Mr. Jefferson's religious beliefs can not be discerned literally from his writings. However, it can be reasonably deduced that he practiced a form of Christian Unitarianism unique to himself. He wrote very favorably of Unitarianism and also wrote that he followed the philosophy of Yehoshua (Jesus). Your Obedient Servant, R.H. Ralls OBSISTENS.TYRANNIS.OBOEDIENTIA.DEO.
