SpandexBobcat discovered 4 months ago- Clever design used for a self powerng cpu fan making it enviromentally friendly.

JohnShepler rated 3 months ago- Old meets new. Next we'll be computing using steam power.

divotfiller rated 4 months ago- Very cool concept, no pun intended

origin415 rated 4 months ago- I've stumbled on this countless times, but no video. As far as I'm concerned, there is no way that fan will spin fast enough to make any difference, the heat cycles are not going to be fast enough. A stirling engine needs to be moved from hot to cold and back every cycle.

Thlayli rated 4 months ago- A Stirling engine CPU cooler. It'd be quiet and dependable. I hope MSI launches it publicly.

apiadeiro rated 4 months ago- Very good idea..I would like to see this working

nathanskywalker rated 4 months ago- Rock On!!! I want one!

rssn rated 4 months ago- Nifty but impractical.

flawless rated 4 months ago- Wow, a cpu fan that is powered by the CPU's excess heat. This should be the new CPU cooling fan standard.

- Exactly what nexon said - thats not a CPU fan. I read the post on Engadget about this and some people had some interesting questions about it such as: as the fan is cooled the power for the fan will drop - will this cause wavering thermal expansion lowering the chips expected life?
