REminds me of that saying "Be careful what you ask for you might get it" and yet one does get tired of just asking. Very powerful. From the page: "Ever wonder what prayer would be like if it was answered during the prayer? Would you be shocked, embarrassed, annoyed, thrilled,... more

The concept is interesting, but this is a poor attempt to capture a conversation based around Jesus' prayer between God and the person praying. e.g. "God: You need to cut out some of the bread. You're a little over-weight as it is." Yeah, I'm sure God would take the reqest of "Give us this day our daily bread" to be a literal request for bread, and would then infer that the person praying to him has a weight problem. Right. Like I said, the thought of what prayer would be like if God answered us during the prayer is interesting, but this person's attempt to capture how it might go is very poor. This is obviously meant to be humorous, but I think this sort of thing is a bad idea for those who don't have a grasp on what God is really like. An individual reading this who has never read the Bible or been taught what God is like might get the wrong idea altogether.

I really like this one. People, don't just pray standard prayer without truly meaning what you say and please be careful what you pray for. In the process of Krystal's illness I have learned and studied a lot about prayer. Be careful how you pray as well. Pray with an open and honest heart with a true desire to fellowship with the Lord

This is applicable even if you're not a Christian. Sometimes it pays to really think about what you're saying and the things you do. Are you just saying/doing something b/c it's expected of you, or does it really mean something? Don't be a drone and blindly follow everything you're told. Study it and understand it, learn from it and expand on it.
