- I think it's obvious that this is an old abandoned mine. What could be better? How about animal? Vegetable? Or mineral? Well it made me laugh!

- For Mike: It's abandoned (20e-30e years of 20 centuries) adits where mined muscovite (aka Common mica, Isinglass, or Potash mica).
In the photos: mushrooms, lichens, droplets of water, mica, crystals of ice , salts and muscovite.

- Pictures inside a disused mine; why is this so creepy? Many of the shots just show crystal growth for crying out loud. I've seen other photographs of abandoned rustbelt sites, they have a sort of modern Gothic quality, these are amongst the most impressive.
