Yay! My new compost bins have arrived: (yes, 3 of them - they're going to look like a line of daleks - perhaps I should stick a plunger and egg whisk on each!)To add to the 2 we already have:..and this recently acquired tumbler (second-hand from a friend):(no, it isn't me!)Great! I can start some serious composting (doesn't take much to make this old hamster happy!)Just about anything organic goes in (even guinea pig poo and bedding, and old fabric, as long as it isn't man made). Perhaps we will improve our potato yield next year, and even think about growing something a bit more exotic (our current range is potatoes, runner beans and tomatoes!).
