As it was, our home really was rather like a library, bookshelves, floor to ceiling, on most every wall. And the overflow books. Those laid atop those on the shelves, and the stacks on the floor. It was books, books Everywhere.
I can't imagine a heaven better than one lined with books.
I truly loved the house in which I grew up, the home my parents made for us. We were not wealthy, but we were rich.
