 alabastard rated 2 months ago- Okay, obviously the ones who knew an answer or two didn't make the cut. Obviously, not every one of my countrymen are this oblivious.
But the fact that some of them are, makes me want to cry. Dammit. And you know what's worse? A lot of them don't care. That's what's worse.

- This annoys me in so many ways. Firstly, that someone came over here and asked a bunch of questions, then edited together the worst answers to support and spread the stereotype that all Americans are idiots. Secondly, that a lot of people undoubtedly believe that most Americans are this stupid. Finally, that there are people over here that actually are this stupid. However I look at it, I don't like it.

- Hrm, yeah a lot of Americans are pretty ignorant.
But, consider this. If you were to ask the same kind of questions in the same kind of area in the UK or other Western nations even (especially giant-chip-on-their-self-insulated-shoulder France) be? Better due to proximity or possibly schooling? Maybe.
In anycase, I have no problem visualizing nice old British ladies with no idea where India (a former colony of your empire) is on the map.
Plus, its obviously edited and they definitely picked the stupidest/most bigoted answers for laughs.

- exactly, they picked the stupid people *for laughs*, nothing too serious. i agree, there are stupid people everywhere, but i think some parts of america have a reputation (60% creationist, no passports, etc etc)
