A great community...but only if you're liberal. Everyone else is censored. ETA: They just banned a large percentage of conservative knitters for merely existing. Most members who were banned never interacted on the website. Very unprofessional.

Knitting/Crocheting community allowing you to track your tools, yarn and projects. Many groups to keep up with various topics. Definitely a must for an avid knitter or crocheter.

Ravelry is a knitting community and a place where knitters can keep track of their projects, their begin dates and progress and difficulty. It's also a place to show off what you've accomplished! The site has links to many patterns both free and for sale. Users can rate patterns and yarn. It's a wonderful tool and a very supportive community.
