Sorry to burst your bubble, but EVERYTHING IS DETERMINISTIC. At best, it seems random or chaotic because we don't know and can't control all the variables.

Redefine random. Take some Physics and realize that perhaps nothing is random.

It's true -- in fact, I'm pretty sure "random" numbers are based on an equation involving the number of seconds since January 1, 1970. True random is impossible to achieve mathematically.

this reminds me of an episodes of numb3rs where these guys worked out the random card shufflers in a casino numb3rs ftw!!

Although for 99% of all purposes, pseudo-random generators are suitable. This service is mostly just for lotteries and give-aways. In those cases, pseudo-random numbers don't work because someone on the inside could predict winning numbers.
