Can't wait until the RIAA starts investigating everyone who signed up early.

Could be vaporware. I'm holding out on my rating until their "technical issues" (official statements by the major labels have stated that there is NO deal with QTrax) are worked out. -!!-UPDATE 2008-03-03-!!- There MAY be something going on with agreements, we'll have to see what happens

Claims unlimited free music. It's gonna have DRM for tracking usage so it can pay royalties to artists and labels based on the music's popularity and paid for with advertising on their jukebox.

Qtrax is experiencing "issues" now. There is nothing better than FREE, but why bother. Seems there is no support for Mac either.

It's going well for me. I've actually managed to get the downloaded music onto my iPod which some people were saying you can't do (you can!! It saves to your 'My Music' folder, so just shift it onto iTunes from there). Granted, I suspect I'm getting a lot of adware etc. (computer's running slow) so I'm going to do a scan. Otherwise, this is fantastic.

It's just a customized version of the open source Songbird browser, which is based on the Mozilla code. There is nothing incredibly special about this, other than the home page is set to a Qtrax webpage full of advertising (though when I used it it showed only the Oracle Database welcome page). Thumbs down.

This looks interesting, and need to try it out. Mr H's faster computer struggled to download the software, however.
