- I agree with Kevin. The title, aside form being total linkbait, is misleading. The truth is that there is no quick and easy way to learn how to design a logo. This is a Graphic Design technique. Nothing more.

- Seems like a good tutorial, but I don't think it really addresses how to create a "simple logo" - instead it seems to show you how to create a generic 'web 2.0' graphic with the glossy shine and reflection that you see on thousands of websites. I think the most important thing about a logo is that it is memorable -- a generic web 2.0 gloss and reflection are not memorable, and I wouldn't be surprised if I soon stumbled on a photoshop action that would just apply those effects with a single click.
