Everything on this blog appears to have escaped
from the Fashion Crimes blog I also read.
Unsubscribe me now!

I wouldn't think of going to a Stigma Fest
without this Gucci Hysteria Clutch.
Handy place to keep my pills, dope,
etc, and it looks smart as well.

I've had a bag fetish since well I suppose since
(a) I won a handbag filled with Max Factor cosmetics (which magically transformed me from plain to seductive at the age of 15ish) and
(b) I realised I was one of those people who couldn't go anywhere without a brolly, a book, a wallet, keys, make-up and whatever other junk I carry around every day for fear of being stranded somewhere with an hour to kill.
But what is a bag person to do these days?
I have a closet full of bags I don't use and would
still like to buy more bags I won't use, or even one
that I will use, but I can't even find one I like.
It's as though the template of good design has been
lost and replaced with conglomerations
of pockets, buckles and garish fabric.
Baggists may like to keep tabs on The Purse Page and I
agree it's a great idea but look at these things, will you?
Would you pay for either of those?
The only one I've liked lately is this (below), which
at least has a clean and clear design.
But it looks as though a pair of bikini briefs has been embedded in it.
That's a bit unseemly, isn't it, for a grown woman.
