- Hefei, a city twice the size of Houston that you have never heard of, is emblematic of the potential for growth in China. The local administration has dedicated themselves to becoming the "silicon valley of China". Their success or failure is irrelevant. Hefei's huge size and complete anonymity is what is important here. China is a huge country, much larger than Americans can understand, and the economic potential is palpable.
