"The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder" by Vincent Bugliosi. Watch the video. Also see: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/07/business/media/07bugliosi.html?_r=1&am p;ref=business&oref=slogin Says the NY Times: "As a Los Angeles county prosecutor, Vincent Bugliosi batted a thousand in murder cases: 21 trials, 21 convictions, including the Charles Manson case in 1971. "As an author, Mr. Bugliosi has written three No. 1 best sellers and won three Edgar Allan Poe awards, the top honor for crime writers. More than 30 years ago he co-wrote the best seller “Helter Skelter,” about the Manson case. "So Mr. Bugliosi could be forgiven for perhaps thinking that a new book would generate considerable interest, among reviewers and on the broadcast talk-show circuit. "But if he thought that, he would have been mistaken: his latest, a polemic with the provocative title “The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder,” has risen to best-seller status with nary a peep from the usual outlets that help sell books: cable television and book reviews in major daily newspapers." --Fascinating, no?

You know, it's great to fantasize about what "we" would like to do to President Bush once he has left office (and even before that, of course). But the truth of the matter is, it is very likely that NOTHING will come of our rancor, not unless We the People get serious about holding our Senators and Representatives culpable. Obama and the DNC's attempt to reign in campaign contributions from various lobbies is a good start, but there are many Democrats who will not comply with this example/request, simply because they are at a tremendous disadvantage if they do so. Republicans have basically sold their souls to Big Business - do you actually believe they will lift a finger to prosecute Bush/Cheney, especially if it means giving up $$$? If you do you are living in a fairy-tale world. We have to start pushing - and pushing hard - on these people we have elected. If they do not represent their constituents, then they should be recalled and replaced with individuals who will respect the will of the people who elected them. It's the only viable option private citizens have. Otherwise you're are only supporting an already rich guy who wrote a book. [$26.95 at Amazon.]

Can Bush be hung on the white house lawn and left there for the birds to pick at him?

Same old liberal propaganda that says GWB is a criminal yet there has been no prosecutions and this is a flimsy case at best. I would first start with plausible deniability and work from there. What does it matter what the NIE says as any one supposition would have a counter in some other document. I also can not find what page 8 he is talking about http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB129/index.htm Let's face it there is no AG that is going to take this on so all this is masturbatory liberal Bush hatred until I see an actual prosecution and finding by a court of law.

Interesting read, but too little too late.

I have my own thoughts. What are yours? Not just based on this, but much other information. It's time for action, folks. No more talk.

I think this book will be important. As you can see from my earlier posts, I am not a fan of punishment, but I do believe the criminals running this administration must be tried and convicted for the sake of history.

This is great to have a well known author come out with this.
