I think there are a lot of good points here. Of course you can't completely "affair proof" a marriage, but you can go a long ways toward it. The thing is to pay attention to each other and for both parties to be willing to work at it. If you have that mindset, then the battle is already half won. Nice post.

Here's the thing about affairs: they are easy. That's why they happen. Getting a divorce? Not easy. Repairing your marriage and getting what you need from your spouse? Definitely not easy. Having a fling with someone who offers you the few things your spouse does not? Much easier.
